A year of CLEAR!
Hello everyone,
I am so grateful and happy to let you know that Joe's September scans were clear. This makes it one whole year of official remission and we are thrilled.
In this photo with you is lovely Dr. Di Paola, Joe's primary oncology doc. This picture was taken at his September appointment.
And miracle of the Internet, I am writing and sending this update from an Internet cafe in Volterra, Tuscany, where I am vacationing with friends. (really). Tom, Seth and Joe are holding down the home fort.
Our fall will have more travel has we go on Joe's Make-A-Wish trip at the end of October. We will be going to Orlando FL and staying at the Give Kids the World village for a week. We will be there over Halloween which should be something.
I will sign off with this picture of Joe and his friend Jack at a recent Hawkeye game. They capture my sentiments exactly.
