Hello dear everyone,
This is a fun entry to write. Joe's March scans (chest and arm) were once again clear, clear, clear! And his follow-up appointment with Dr. Steyers, his hand surgeon was great. The wrist reconstruction is healing nicely and the mondo cast has come off in favor of a more light weight model.

We are still keeping a close eye on his wrist and activities (no soccer, no bike-riding) but Joe is thrilled that he has been given the tentative go ahead for baseball!
We all had a wonderful weekend in the wild and wacky world of Dance Marathon, the U of IA's amazing 24-hour event to raise money for the Hospital's Pediatric Oncology/Hemotology unit. Those amazing dancers raised over $570,000.

Spring feels almost here, despite yesterday's snow fall. 50 degrees feels plenty spring-like to us. Joe is looking forward to camp this summer at Heart Connections. Here is an article that we wrote for their newsletter last fall. Download file
We are also starting to plan our wonderful Make-A-Wish trip for the fall to Disneyland in Orlando and Give Kids the World.
We continue to feel blessed and thank you all for your blessings.
Love, Jenny, Tom, Seth and Joe
