Cut Him Loose

Hello everyone,

Happy summer to you all. We had a lovely appointment several weeks ago with nice Dr. Steyers, the surgeon who did Joe's wrist operation. Much to our delight and surprise, after looking at Joe's x-ray, he said, "The cast should come off and no more activity restrictions."

We said, "Can he ride his bike?"

Dr. Steyers said, "yes."

We said, "Can he climb trees?"

Dr. Steyers said, "yes."

We said, "Can he even play soccer?"

Dr. Steyers said, "Cut him loose."

I was going to wait to do this update until after Joe's next scans (which are tomorrow), but I had a little nervous energy to channel so am doing this now.
